I was a BzzAgent for the Burts Bees campaign... What is a Bzz Agent? Well you are provided samples and coupons to pass out from the company and you get to spread the word about the awesome products different companies have to offer. After trying the Burts Bees Cleanser and Moisturizer my skin feels a little different. I have more of a combo/oily skin tone, so I think this formula was a little to mild for me as it was labeled for sensitive skin. Overall it did clean my skin well and didnt really leave a residue, so that is good. I still have some coupons left if you are interested in getting some, just let me know!

WOW I cannot believe that it is almost Christmas, it just seems like yesterday we were saying HAPPY NEW YEAR for 2009.... WOW...

So here is a little update on us... Hayden and Kaden turned 2 on the 18th of November, we had a great YO GABBA GABBA party, it was fun! I love Yo Gabba Gabba anyway and so do the kids, so it was a win win for everyone lol...

Also the little misses is starting to become interested in the potty, so we bought a little potty seat to sit on the toilet to get them used to it. So far it is just a here and there kind of thing. We will start doing it a little more frequently after the 1st of the year... that sure should be interesting!!

Other than those events we are just happy and healthy and we are grateful for that!

Vacation here we come!!!

Well the countdown is officially on... We will be leaving on Thursday and will be gone for 9 nights... omg! This is a long trip for us... we are driving, yes driving to Colorado and then on to Nebraska, back to Colorado, then home... It kind of sucks because half of our trip we will be in the freaking car! The reason for the trip is because Nicks dad has retired (as of April 1st, not a joke) and he spent alot of his working years in Colorado, so we are having a reception there.

Nick has always wanted to make a trip to Colorado for one because he has relatives there that has not seen the kiddos yet and this would be a great opportunity, and then his grandma (who is 95) lives in Nebraska and he wants to take the kids to see her because well life is short and this is a perfect time to go visit!

Now you are probably wondering how this is going to work...well we are for sure going to be driving to CO in 2 days because for one, I dont like to ride in the car for a long time...I can go maybe 8 hrs or so, but then I am done... and second, who knows how long the kids can last in the car at this age! The last long trip we did was to Pismo Beach last year and they were 7 months old...going there, they were peachy, coming back home, they were wired! LOL so lets just hope that the trip goes well, we are planning on leaving early in the morning (before the kids wake up) and hope that we can get a few hours out before they wake up and want to be FREE! We do have a portable DVD player so I am thinking that is going to be our godsend... we shall see.... so please say prayers for us that we will have a great journey and we will be safe in all our ventures and make it home in 1 piece, and sane! (this is when the spa gift card will be coming in handy) :)

On June 5th it was my birthday, wow time has come and gone! This year is just really flying by, pretty soon I will be planning my twinks 2nd birthday! EEK! For my birthday I received money, gas gift card (will come in super handy!), Wii Active, and my BFF Joan, Don and Liz got me a spa gift card, itunes gift card, and other little misc trinkets. THANK YOU!!! We just had cake and ice cream (nothing too fancy) it was a great night...here are a few pics

On Saturday Nick, his parents, the kids and I went to Carrabas for dinner for our birthday (his mom's bday was the 31st)...that was a yummy dinner!

A crazy week....

Well...it has been a very long and tiring week...and that is only the beginning. We have had our poor dog Bear at the vet for most of the week, he was diagnosed with Diabetes, we were very scared he had some serious problems, but hopefully now we have it under control...

This is something that we are going to have to deal with for the rest of his life. He will have to have 2 injections of Insulin a day...so of course since I love my dog, he is a child of mine we are going to do everything we can for him.

Is it stressful? Heck ya! This is just to prove that life comes with all circumstances, and no one is ever prepared for this stuff, but we can only do the best we can...

Spring has Sprung

Those of you may or may not know, but I do not have a green thumb. I have attempted to grow house plants, but they always end up dying. Its a crazy cycle, I really love flowers, but I guess it is just easy to buy the bouquet and enjoy it for a few days. Although....we have some plants outside and the first year I put sunflowers out there, it was so beautiful! I also planted some bulbs, gladioloas and lillies...well they have been coming back (this is the 2nd year) and here is a picture of the first bloom from my lily....There is also 3 buds on one stem that should bloom in the next day or so, I am excited! I also have another bud in another pot that is ready as well...have to enjoy these for a few days, it so hot this week and they probably will not last too long...

Each day these kids just facinate me. They have just grown up over night I swear! A friend of mine just told me the other day, "what happened to that little baby that I remember, Hayden looks so grown up" She is wanting to talk more and just babbles and carries a conversation with herself. An update! OMG

Yes yes it has been a while...just trying to keep up on things is so hard sometimes! Well lets see here...we had the kids Dr appt last week and everything is great. Hayden is becoming a little jibberjabber mouth. She just babbles, it is the cutest thing. At times I swear she is saying "bear" or even "bubba" I am sure that she will be talking up a storm in no time...

Yesterday Nick took the kids to Boulder City to visit grandpa and grandma, they had a great time. The kids LOVE to be outside, if they could play outside all day they would. I am continuously having to make sure that both kids are inside as Kaden loves to venture out the doggy door as well (he is actually worse than she was).

Nick sent this picture to me yesterday and I think it is just a great picture, sure it is a little windy, but I just cannot believe how big my babies are getting!

My task for tonight (after I finish this post) is to get the numbers all ready so I can send the stuff to my tax man and get that done and out of the way. Yes each year I say I am going to get it done sooner, but that doesnt happen :( I will work harder next year!

So that is all for now, i will do better and keeping this updated...

Ok so I am not sure if you are all aware, but my kids are seriously BATH MANIACS! If they hear the water running in the bathtub, they will seriously freak out and cry. They just want in the dang tub! Tbere were times where I went into the bathroom just to get some stuff out of the cabinet and they both come in there and climbed in the tub, yes climbed! Water or no water, they just want to play! So of course if we are filling the tub, the door needs to stay SHUT or we will have some wet kids in a minute, clothes or no clothes...Enjoy the pictures and the crazy hairdo's!

Holiday Weekend...

Well we ended up celebrating our Valentines Day on Friday the 13th, Laurie came over to watch the munchkins and Nick and I really didnt know exactly what we wanted to do, so we just went with the flow :) We ended up deciding to go to the movies and since we didnt know what was playing, we opted for fast food, so we headed over to In N Out, havent had that in a long time and then went to the movies...We ended up watching "The Uninvited" yes it is a scary movie, but it was SOOOOOO good! Of course I would have loved to see Friday the 13th, but it was sold out and of course there were LOTS of teenagers there (they were obnoxious enough in our theater...

On Saturday we ended up running errands and getting our grocery shopping done. Tarin came along with us and we just had a fun time... :)

Sunday I went to my brothers fiances baby shower, they are having a little boy he is due in a few weeks. She got lots of neat stuff, then I headed out early to go over to the Minters for a BBQ...that was a lot of fun and we had YUMMY tri-tip...It is always nice to visit with family :)

Now I am back to work, darn! It is a holiday (presidents day) we dont get paid time and a half for this day, but hey that is ok, at least I am working and that is all that matters :)

Ok so this is old news, but I have been really wanting to blog about this...I just cannot imagine seeing this plane crashing into the Hudson river...It is just amazing, and that pilot, OMG one wrong move and that plane could have been spinning out of control...I am just happy that everyone was alive...It truely is a miracle!

Wow 2008 went by so fast....now it is a new year...it is the time when people sit down and make New Year resolutions, things they want to change about their lives....I really like when it is the New Year because it kind of gives you the sense that you can start with a clean slate. Now I know it is all a mind thing, but I really think that when you put your mind to it you can make things happen...

I will share some of my resolutions, yes some may sound repetitive....but if they dont get accomplished, they just return the next year's list LOL....ooooh and I like to call my resolutions "GOALS" because that is more of what I am in to...

First of course everyone's goal is to lose weight (who doesnt want to do that?)
I need to be more organized, and I will achieve that, yes it will take some work, lots of work, but I will accomplish this BIG task
I also need to budget our money better, make more reasonable choices, start saving for my childrens education. I want them to be able to do whatever they want...I know we all cant have everything, but I want to make sure that it is available for them at that time (yes this takes more than a year, but it is a step in the right direction)
Get a better handle on my time management, we only have 24 hours in a day, I want to make sure every minute is accounted for...

Well those are some of my major goals...we shall revisit this at the end of the year and see how I did! Have a wonderful and prosperous New Year.....

Today is my mom's birthday, if she were still alive she would be 70 today..wow...I just thought I would post a tribute to my mom...I miss her dearly and I think she would just have a blast with the twins. I know that she is looking down on us and enjoying it from afar...She always said that everyone should have a kid for payback...well I guess I just had to have 2, was I that bad of a child? Just kidding...but makes you think....

I wanted to post a "happy day" picture and I think this was a happy day for everyone, it is just amazing at how fast time flys...it seems like yesterday when i got married, and it is hard to believe that it has been 7 years!

Oh and another funny thing about this day...she once made a comment to me about what she was wearing...well when Toby got married back in 1988 she wore a pink dress and she had this theory that Toby and Kandi had all girls because she wore a "pink" dress to their wedding, then she preceded to tell me that I am going to have all boys because she is wearing a "blue" dress, well glad that didnt happen...I am happy with my boy and girl...(although my little girl is a turd)

Anyway, I was just really thinking of my mom and thought I should do a little blog about her...

We have a smarty pants in the house!

I always knew and could tell you time after time that Hayden is a "Smarty Pants" she is always too smart for her little britches. She would be a little sneak, she always figures out how to do something first....and she really pushes your buttons, she knows how hard to push and she will back off sometimes...but today she was really smart...

Nick and I were in the living room and all of a sudden it was quiet...hmmm what could the twins be up to? Well he goes walking down the hallway and says you need to come and look at this. I guessed it before he could say it, Hayden crawled in the bathtub. Now let me tell you they just LOVE the bathtub for some reason, so pretty soon Nick was going to put away the camera and there goes Kaden he was leaning so far into the tub to get toys and he was in the tub too! Silly kids I tell ya!

So now it is lunch time and I am hungry, so I decide that taco bell sounds good for lunch. I get dressed and get in the car and off to taco bell I go...while in the Drive thru lane a picture message comes in from nick....and lo and behold here it is...

Now the kids have always been facinated with the doggie door and I have just been waiting for the time for one of them to figure out how to get thru. She did eventually make it thru to the outside, in the time that Nick was getting the video camera as well as the still camera she was outside laughing at him from the sliding glass door and walking down the sidewalk...what a little stinker!!

On my way to work I get another text msg, stating that Nick was looking for Hayden and when he couldnt find her he spotted her on the outside and once she spotted him she darted down the sidewalk...she escaped thru the doggy door.... Oh my....

So there it is in a nutshell, we officially have a smarty pants in the house!!! I wonder what she will come up with next...

Speaking of the little devil, as I am typing this I get another text from Nick saying that Hayden is a little turd and it was quiet and she was then again OUTSIDE... we are in trouble!

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas...it sure was interesting this year having two mobile little ones...it sure was fun though!!! I can only imagine how much fun it is going to be as the years come...I would love to post some pictures, but...we dont have any downloaded from the camera, and I stole Nicks laptop so I can play games here at work on Christmas day LOL...anyway...the babies made out and came away with a haul of toys and fun stuff...They got lots of learning toys, bath toys, food stuff (plates, forks,etc), clothes, and some cool toy boxes to put all the stuff away...we got gift cards (which are super dooper)...the best thing of all was spending time with family, I am so thankful for all my family and what they do for us! THANK YOU!

So as I sit here at work and dwell on all the stuff that will have to be done on my days off I just sigh...oooh but I do want to go shopping haha there is always time to do that right???

We survived! YEAH! It was a fun party, we had a Sesame Beginnings party, the kids adore Elmo and Cookie Monster...They had a lot of fun, they got LOTS of presents (thanks everyone) and I think they liked the cake the best! LOL Here are some pics of their party!

Ok so Uncle David, Aunt Tina, and cousin Patricia sent the babies Christmas Gift, it arrived yesterday...Yes it is early, but with Tina being preggers, she is ahead of the game and getting everything done now...So here we have a stuffed Dinosaur that is really fun, oh and the best part...it is stuffed with like 65 balls!!! LOL So not only do we have a fun toy that the kiddos can sit in and play with and now mommy and daddy have to round up all the balls that were thrown out...Oh and on a side note, Smokey loves the tail because it rattles and if he had the opportunity to drag the dino around by the tail, he would! I cant wait till we can play "the clean up" game and they can help me put the balls back inside!

Ok so I am not sure if you all know about our HOA wars going on...here is a senario in a nutshell...Back in August there were these gentlemen roaming the property to get us to sign a petition to recall our current board members, we did not sign as I didnt want to have anything to do with it. Evidently they had all this proof that they were spending the money illegally blah blah blah...anyway the petition passed so they had a recall election. During that time, these men were approaching homes to make sure they turn in their ballots and were actually taking the ballots for them. Now that is a big NO NO as this is a secret ballot, so we're thinking sabotage and the president put the recall on hold, then there were slander flyers again and the president just pissed off, so he said "hey lets just do this recall and get it behind us" so they did and little did he know that they won and he was kicked off the board along with his other counter part (oh so say it). That just left 1 board member left to handle all this crap that is going on...anyway last month they had a petition to recall the last board member...now if that passed there would be NO ONE controlling the association...uh HELLO! Luckily it didnt pass as they didnt have enough ratio of votes vs home owners...

Now it is election time and I just really dont want this jerk on the board, he is VERY negative and there is just something fishy about him. It seems as if he has all the people who are in "trouble" backing him up. He is promising to do all sorts of stuff yada yada...

So, I just wanted to have more choices on the ballots, so I elected Nick! LOL He is on the ballot along with 5 other members (2 are the other guys that are fighting so hard)...so I was happy to see the other people added and it gives people a choice.

These men are drilling it into peoples head to vote for them and putting crazy flyers on the doors...the last one Nick took a little personally because it was mentioning that most of the other people on the ballot are "raymond joe" supporters (who is our ex president) who freaking cares??? OMG it just gets me upset talking about it...

We made up a great little profile flyer and passed it out today and boy am I exhausted! Our little note told everyone about Nick and I pointed out some "facts" that the Greg dude talked about to nick...Yes it is a little dirty, but it really isnt because I am just stating the truth, and I have noted my websites to back it up! I am just curious what he is going to come out and put on my door next (hopefully to piss more neighbors off)

My feet are killing me and just to think that these 2 jerk offs do this almost every day makes me sick, they have to have help or something!

Ok so that is my little HOA rant, thanks for reading....but election day is October 20th and its not that I want to win (I dont really care) I just dont want THOSE guys on the board you know what I mean???

This week has been interesting! We have hit some milestones in a way...

Hayden now "claps" she loves to do that...if you start to hum a song or whatever she will start to clap...it is the cutest thing! Also Ms Hayden will say mama over and over...Now I know that is what she is saying, but Nick isnt for sure? hmmm he is just jealous! LOL

Kaden on the other hand, he has just figured out how to dance! Hayden always bounces and rocks, but Kaden really didnt do much of that....now he does the head bop...It is the funniest thing! It is like the dance from night at the Roxbury...LOL I want to get a video posted, but that will be some work for me!

Ok so this is a few weeks late. On the 6th my sister celebrated Devons bday and they had a slip and slide (they are way more fancy these days). Hayden was just looking at all the kids playing and you could tell that she just wanted to JUMP right in, so we did...

Woo hoo an UPDATE! 9 month checkup

We had our 9 month check up on Monday (although they are 9 and a half months) anyway...they did great! Here are their stats

Kaden
17 lbs 14 oz 5-10%ile
26.5 in long < 5%ile
his head measurement was also in the < 5%ile

Dr said he was a little man, but THICK...lol Yes he is!

Hayden
17 lbs 7 oz 25%ile
27 in long 25%ile
her head measurement was also in the 25%ile

They are growing quite nicely, they are going along the curve so that makes all of us happy! They did not have shots this appointment, however they did have to do a toe prick to test their hemoglobin....and all was normal! They didnt even cry when they pricked their toe...so proud of them...Of course they were very intrigued with their new colorful bandaids on their toes and wanted to take them off...silly kiddos!

Ok so YES I have been a BAD blogger! There has been so much stuff happening...We did have our 1st family vacation in July, that was quite interesting...I would post pics, BUT Nick hasnt downloaded them!!! I can steal some from Awburns blog, or you can go view them on her blog...LOL

Also the babies are mobile now....YES they are on the move...Kaden crawls everyone and he follows you around like there is no tomorrow. I guess you wouldnt call his crawling "crawling" he is more of a breakdancer, he does the WORM! LOL I swear it looks like it has to hurt him everytime...he goes up and lands flat on his tummy and makes an "ugh" noise everytime...

Hayden is crawling as well, but she would rather stand and pull herself up. She is amazing...I wont be suprised if she just "skips" the whole crawling phase (lord help me).

2 weeks ago I took the kiddos to Costco and had them sit in the cart for the 1st time together, it was quite interesting, but they had a fantastic time and as usual everyone drooled over them... Here is a pic that I took...TOO FUN!

There is more to come and of course I would love to update more, but time is running out...I will get better I will I will ;)

This was a few weeks ago (ya ya i know its late!) I am involved with lots of different mommy groups online and I had an opportunity to meet one of the wonderful ladies, she was out here visiting some relatives...If you think about it we all starting chatting back in June last year and we were all preggers at the same time, our plus size mommy group is very active and there are about 10 regular ladies that post frequently. I love my mommy friends and I hope one day I can meet them all! Here are some pics of Hailey and her hubby Frank, with their daughter Abby...It was a nice time!

6 month check up

Today we had our 6 month check up, although they are actually almost 7 months....so anyway, everything checked out great, they skipped on Kadens shots because he has been throwing up the last few days, but he is doing better. I have an appt to take him back next Tue for his shots.. They are still low in the percentiles, but accounting for them being born early, we are good!

Hayden has 2 teeth as well, and boy can she bite hard...Kaden doesnt do too bad either...

I cannot believe they are growing so fast! What am I to do???? :)

Well I am a little late on posting this, it has been a cranky mess in our house! Kaden cut his first tooth last monday May 12th. I am not sure when Haydens little suprise will arise, but I am sure it will be soon, she was a HOT mess last night!

So now I am stocked up on teething tablets, teething drops, tylenol, you name it we probably have it!

Just when they were starting to calm down, a tooth arises! What are the chances? Pretty good I assume...LOL

A Day At The Park...

We went to Sunset Park today just to have some fun. It was Nick, Grandma Ann, Great Grandpa Art, Great Grandma Max and I. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves, we slid down the slide, swung on the swings....it was a good day. Hayden was really interested looking at the other children as you can see in the pictures. A full school bus pulled up about 15 minutes after we got there and were running everywhere! The kids didnt seem to mind at all. This is just preparing us for Saturday when they go to the Company Picnic with Aunt Laurie...oh fun! They sure were worn out though...they fell asleep in the stroller when walking back to the car...this can be a good thing! LOL

Well it has almost been a whole year since I found out I was preggers! I found out last year Mother's Day weekend. It is hard to imagine that a year has already passed.

We have started feeding them veggies. It has been interesting! Hayden seems to like Peas though. We will start the "orange" foods on Friday. We had to do the green stuff first because those arent as favorable...hmmm we shall see!

Also a new thing this last week, Mr Kaden found his tounge and he thinks its funny to do raspberries! It is so funny! He has a blast making the "spppppppzzz" sound...

It is also fun to see how they recognize one another. They surely do LOVE eachother!

Well today the babies are 5 months old! I cannot believe it! They are growing soooo fast. Hayden wants to be independent and sit by herself. Kaden does that as well. They are talking more and they do notice one another.

After they had their Dr appt last week he said we can give them cereal and solid food now. So tried the cereal and here is the result...

Oh and thanks to Aunt Kandi, they LOVE to watch their Sesame Street DVD. This is just a great photo of them...

Also Hayden was just fighting sleep (she does all the time) here is a picture Nick took, it is so funny. There is a video that goes along with it and I will work on getting that uploaded...

Today Nick decided to take the day off and we took the babies to his parents house so we can get some good cleaning done. Well so far so good. We got the floors cleaned and mopped (smells just like pine sol in here). It makes me feel good that some things did get done. Yes there is more to do, but at least there is a little dent ya know? I am going to attempt to put a video and a photo...Enjoy! Well the video didnt work, but I will attempt to put it somewhere else...haha

Well it is official, I am a mommy...Yes it is crazy and I have adjusted (as so I think). I am going back to work tomorrow (the 6th) and it does suck, but we do need money to survive!

People ask me if it is hard to take care of 2 infants, well yes it is, but it really isnt all that bad. You do learn to adjust and I truely believe that the man above wouldn't have given us this blessing if we couldn't handle it.

It does teach you patience, however I already have a great deal of patience, Nick on the other hand has to learn more about patience. He is doing better and he is a great daddy!

Also having 2 little ones teaches you TIME MANAGEMENT, oh my goodness if this isnt the truth, you have to make sure to get the timing right. You think they will revolve around your schedule, WRONG ANSWER, you are on their schedule and you can make them adjust a bit, but not much. The hardest part is when you have 2 hungry babies and they both want food NOW, not later...

I will do my best to keep my blog updated because I know that people do want to read about our life and the growing little ones

Holidays

Well the holidays are now over and it is time to start a new year! I haven't been blogging much because I have been occupied with my little ones. They are changing everyday!

Our hoidays were very nice, a lot of Nicks family was out here for the holidays and of course to see the new babies. First off after the babies were born his grandfather made a trip out here from Colorado, then on the 21st of Dec. his brother and his family came out for a week, also his grandma is still out here till the 11th of Jan. His grandpa made another trip out here for Christmas, so needless to say this house has had a revolving door of visitors. It has been hectic, but we are now calming down and starting to get stuff in order.

For New Years we rang it in with the Minters (our annual tradition) this year we had 2 little ones to celebrate as well, it was a fun night.

The babies arrived early on November 18th. It was a crazy night on the 17th that ended up with me delivering the next morning. I ended up having a vaginal delivery as well as a csection (because his cord was prolapsing). I am recovering quite well and I am feeling much better. Now we just have to get the rest of the room done. Awburn and I painted the letters for the nursery and now we just have to get them hung up and make it just perfect. Hopefully the babies will be home in a few days or a week or so. I really want them home now so we can really start our life as a family!

OK so last weekend I had my shower...and WOW we got a lot of stuff! It was crazy, I am so grateful for everyone, it really helps out a lot! Now we are starting to sort the stuff and begin the laundry...I think that it is kind of setting in...OH MY GOODNESS!

Just think in about a month and a half we will have 2 little babies in the house! Am I scared? YES! Am I nervous? YES...Do I have every emotion in the book right now? YES. I feel so bad because I am getting uncomfortable and I am becoming a crabby patty! I am very snappy, but you have to realize, I am getting HUGE and uncomfortable, I guess it is a price you pay for generating life :)

31 Weeks!

Hi there...no belly pic this week (well not yet anyway). It is getting closer and we now have a goal...We need to make it to 36 weeks...I am sure that will happen...YES it is getting uncomfortable to be preggers now...It hurts to get up out of bed, it sometimes hurts to walk (not all the time) but its crazy!

About the Gestational Diabetes...I am doing fine so far, I have a little diet to follow to keep my sugars in tact and I have been monitoring myself 4 times a day. I thought it would be worse, but it isn't all that bad. I am just hoping that it will continue to be like this, they say it can get worse and harder to control towards the end of the pregnancy, lets hope for the best that it doesn't happen that way.

Oh and we got the cribs put up this last weekend...Here are some beautiful pictures, it will look much better when the bedding sets are in and all that good stuff!!! ENJOY :)

Baby Update...

Went for my growth ultrasound today, everything is still looking good...Our baby boy is weighing in at 3 lbs and our baby girl is close behind at 2 lbs 14 oz...Our baby boy was being stubborn (there is always 1 child that doesn't cooperate!) At least she was able to get the measurements that she needed. Our baby girl was better and head down (which is a good sign). Our baby boy was in his favorite spot being transverse (which is sideways).

I go to my regular OB doctor in the morning and who knows what is going to happen. I got a heads up today that I did not pass my 3 hr glucose screening test so that means I am most likely have developed Gestastional Diabetes. I have come to expect it because I was warned in the begining about it. It occurs more in women who have multiple births because of the 2 placentas. Gestational Diabetes is caused by a hormone that the placenta releases, so it makes more sense to have more of that hormone floating around because I have double the placenta mass...I will just see what the DR has to say in the morning and take it day by day...

Other than that, everything else is going well...I am in a pinch trying to figure out what to do about my leave of absence...I guess I will just have to talk to the DR and see what he suggests...I just want to be prepared and make sure to get paid and all that good stuff...it is all frustrating...ahhh...

So I haven't taken a belly photo for a few weeks, so I had my co worker take a belly photo and then I looked at it and said "OH I AM HUGE" it can only be expected, but sheesh....

Oh and KUDOS to my niece for doing my hair, she did a WONDERFUL job and I am super dooper proud of her...

There is this thing that they call "nesting" and it is what a mother does to prepare for a baby...now I haven't fully come to the full blow of nesting, but I have been getting these urges to just hurry up and get the house all cleaned up so I can just relax and enjoy these next few months. Yes, the baby room is done, however there is other stuff out in the living area that needs to find a place. Nick and I have made an agreement to get the house in order by the end of the month....so that leaves me about 2 and a half weeks? Oh my HECK! I guess I better get going and get this done... The "nesting" will come! Lord help me get this done! :)

Its almost Halloween!

As you know, or maybe you don't...Halloween is one of my FAVORITE holidays! We decorated the house today for Halloween (on the outside). I still have to get some stuff put out on the inside, but have some cleaning to do as well...I cannot wait to get home tonight and check out how it looks at night!

The weather is getting much cooler and kind of nice...It was warm today, but it is nice when there is a breeze..

I don't have much to say today, but all I know is that I will be a busy bee this month, with Dr appts, getting the house cleaned, preparing for babies and whatever else is coming my way...

Little do I realize that in a few months, my life will revolve over 2 little infants and then I will realize that it isn't all about me!

I am so happy that my weekend is finally coming...I have been sort of "outta it" today, it sucks, but I am feeling better though. I went to perinatal doctor and everything is still doing good...These babies have been kicking up a storm and I think I have felt them have the hiccups at times...It is still so strange for me to think that I am going to be a mom in about 2 months...Its too late to turn back now!

As for my days off, I will be working on the kitchen and the desk to get things put in place so we can finally relax...yes there is still stuff that needs to be done in the babies room, but we will get it done eventually. The painting was the most part, and now that is done...the border is next, then we have to clean the carpet and let it air out, then we can start moving stuff in! WAHOO....

Nick has been working pretty hard in the nursery the last 2 days so that we can get the border up on Friday (when I will be able to help him). You can see what the colors are, it looks like a mint green in the photo, but it is actually a light lime green and a lilac, obviously the lilac looks darker, but I am sure it is beautiful. He was sending these pics via his cell phone, kinda cool huh? Oh and the last photo is of our silly dog Bear, he LOVES to sit by fans and just "chill" out, check him out!

Vacation...

Well now that I am back to reality from having a nice vacation this last weekend in San Diego. I loved the weather and just relaxing! We visited Sea World as well as did a city tour that took us all places. I enjoyed every bit of it! I hated coming back to reality, however, sometimes you just have to :)

We stayed at the Bahia Resort, it is right in Mission Bay, they had this really cool paddle boat that circled the bay to another hotel and it was FREE to guests. It was nice, I think we stayed on the boat for 2 hours. I loved just sitting on top with the wind running thru my hair! ahhh, relaxation...

Sea World was fun, however, now they have rides and of course with me being preggers I couldnt go on any rides. It kind of sucked, but hey it is for my safety...I loved the dolphin show and they had this really cute pet show with dogs and cats and pigs, it was the cutest thing! I was really missing my dogs when I was watching that show! Shamu was also beautiful, it is amazing how they can be trained and loved so much for being a killer whale...

On the trolly tour we stopped at the cruise ship terminal where they had Fleet Week and it was focused on the Navy. It was really neat to see the air craft carriers and planes. It was amazing, Nick took lots of cool pics, I cannot wait to see them all. We then walked down to Sea Port Village and had lunch. It was yummy! We hopped back on the Trolly and headed out to Coronado and it was just beautiful down there, we opted not to get off because it was a little walk back to that hotel, so hopefully next time we can get to see that goregous hotel up close...When we got off the Trolly at Balboa Park there were Brides everywhere! It was nuts...everywhere you turned there was a bride...One bride was getting married right in the middle of the park in the organ area! It was nuts because you have people just wondering around and the wedding is still going on. It was funny :) I wish we could have done the ghost tours at night. There is this home called the Whaley house and it is said to be VERY haunted! I wanted to do that, but it was still early in the evening and that tour began later that night, hopefully next time!

A funny thing that happened on our trip, and you will just have to understand that it would probably not happen to other people, but just me...We were on our way home and since the weather was so nice we were cruising with all the windows down. All of a sudden I look down and on my pant leg there is a BUG, now I don't like bugs, but this was like a little bee looking thing or something, but it didnt look friendly...so I grabbed the papers that I was holding and flicked it off and out the window goes the directions to get home!!!! I was just cracking up immediately because I found it to be so funny! Well luckily we were already passed the switching of the freeways and it was easier to find out way home, but it was just funny...

As for travelling, this a was and will be my last trip for a while because of the pregnancy. We don't need to go into pre term labor in another city!
